Riverside Ramble

Early in the morning on the third Sunday of September a large group of walkers set out on "The Riverside Ramble" a fifteen mile sponsored walk which has become a regular feature of the WISH calendar. They journeyed from Putney Bridge to Hampton Court Palace following the Thames towpath.

As always it was an ideal opportunity to rekindle old acquaintances and to make new friends whilst also helping to raise funds for the Christmas ROOF.

During the day their walk took them from Putney Bridge past some of the most historic sights on London's riverside and, at Teddington, they passed out of the Pool of London and upstream to Hampton Court Palace.

Growing numbers of walkers, raise ever increasing amounts and this year over £4,300 was raised.
