Notes to the Accounts for the twelve months ended 28 February 2001

      These accounts have been prepared under the historic cost convention and in accordance with applicable accounting standards and the Statement of Recommended Practice [2000] on Accounting and Reporting by Charities.

  2. Donations and grants
    1. ..
      A number of supporters and agencies made donations and grants during the year. One donation of £600 was restricted to use on outreach services and was spent on hiring a minibus for this service during the Christmas Roof.
      ..
  3. Miscellaneous income
    1.  
      A sum of £3.025 was received from the insurers in compensation for the theft of the Outreach Service van which had been bought from revenue resources in 1999/2000. The balance of £823 represents interest received.

  4. Debtors
    1.  
      A claim has been submitted to the Inland Revenue for Gift Aid tax refund on donations for which an appropriate declaration was received during the year.

  5. Analysis of net assets by funds

      All of the charity's funds in the years ended 28 February 2001 and 29 February 2000 are represented by unrestricted funds.
      The charity has no fixed assets, consequently the total of its retained funds is represented by current assets.

  7. Staff and trustees' remuneration

      No staff were employed by the charity during the period. No trustee received nor waived any remuneration or reimbursement for expenses.
