West London Initiative on Single Homelessness

Much of our work is made possible not through spending money, but by the kind donations of time, expertise, goods and services by our volunteers, companies and local people. We can make good use of clothing, books, and games, and offers of transportation- vans, trucks, minibuses and cars - over the Christmas period and earlier are always welcome.

Does your employer make charitable donations? Are you a Round Tabler, Rotarian or Freemason and able to propose WISH for support? Are you associated with a school, college or club that might be interested in a presentation about our work? Do you have any ideas for volunteer recruitment, fundraising or other forms of support?

Nonetheless, we do need money as well. We have previously receive funds from organisations such as Crisis and the King's Fund, as well as from corporate and trust donations, but money raised by such events as the riverside ramble has also been essential to our work.

WISH can reclaim the basic rate tax paid on any donations, at no cost to the donor, thus increasing the amount donated by 28%.
All we need is for you to complete a simple declaration. This will cover not only the present donation but also any other donations to WISH since 6 April 2000 and in the future.
To increase the value of your donation by 28% please:

1. Print off and complete a copy of the declaration form.
2. Send us the declaration: we cannot reclaim the tax until we have them.
