Getting ready for our guests

Deliveries of all kinds began to arrive	More volunteers joined and helped build the first aid and dental room,  arrange delivery collection of more essential supplies and donations, sort clothing and give particularly dull parts of the building a lick of paint.
and parts of the floor still needed sweeping

Chef's kitchen began to take shape and the food was delivered and put in store.
Finally the carpet was laid throughout the main area, a serving area was set up and with only a few hours to spare the floor had a final sweep,
decorations were hung and the tree dressed to give the building a feeling of a "home".

Chef was right about his kitchen	and by midday on December 23rd, a hot lunch was ready and soon after the Roof opened its doors to the small queue of guests, that had already formed at th front gates. Our guests were welcomed into what will be their home for the next week or so by volunteers.
