The Christmas Roof 2000 Feedback
West London Initiative on Single Homelessness

This year's Roof was a great success. Its main aim is to provide homeless people with safe, warm accommodation, effective services and companionship over Christmas and the New Year. This year WISH achieved this by providing 334 bed space nights. The number of guests sleeping at the Roof increased over the week. This means we helped over 100 homeless men and women.

Previous questionnaires filled in by our guests have shown that 94% found the atmosphere to be good or excellent.
This year we recieved some spontaneous feedback from them.

The Roof can be good fun - for the volunteers as well as the guests!

WISH  is increasing its work throughout the year but our future plans still include a Christmas Roof.
